Landscape Lighting Technician — Mundelein, IL ($18–$20/hr + Overtime)

American National Sprinkler & Lighting is hiring Landscape Lighting Technicians for our Mundelein, IL operation. We install premium low-voltage outdoor lighting systems for high-end residential properties across the Chicago suburbs.

What You’ll Do

• Install low-voltage landscape lighting systems (Kichler and similar premium product)
• Run wire, set fixtures, dial in light placement and aiming
• Troubleshoot and repair existing lighting installations
• Work with the customer on aesthetic placement decisions

Schedule

• Monday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• LOTS of overtime — most techs run 55–65 hrs/week in season
• Steady work spring through fall, with year-round opportunities

Pay

• $18–$20/hour DOE
• Time-and-a-half over 40 hours
• Paid weekly

Requirements

• Some electrical or low-voltage experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
• Aesthetic eye — lighting is half technical, half artistic
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (E-Verify employer)
• Valid driver’s license
• Punctual, dependable, attention to detail
